Following immediately on the heels of the US250 Celebration and Fleet Week in New York City, the U.S. Department of Defense held a ceremony to honor FINNY executives for their ongoing support to servicemembers. FINNY’s three founders, Eden Ovadia, Victoria Toli and Theo Janson, were each presented with the Patriot Award from the New York office for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR).
The award recognizes Ovadia, Toli and Janson as employers who go above and beyond to support their Citizen Warriors through flexible scheduling, deployment support and care for military families.
The recognition also acknowledges FINNY’s role as the inaugural sponsor of the “Veterans in Fintech” event during NYC Fintech Week in April, 2026, that brought together veterans working across the financial technology industry to connect, share career resources and build community.
