PORTSMOUTH, N.H., Aug. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The Service Credit Union Impact Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of its 2026 scholarship program, awarding a total of $110,000 to 33 high school seniors, college students, and adult learners pursuing higher education. Scholarships were awarded in the amounts of $2,500 and $5,000, helping ease the financial burden of tuition and academic expenses for Service Credit Union members and their dependents.
Students from a variety of academic paths and institutions were selected based on academic achievement, community involvement, and personal essays. The recipients represent 31 different colleges and universities spanning 18 U.S. states, from Maine to Florida and Arizona, as well as one university in England, reflecting the wide reach of the Service CU Impact Foundation scholarship program.
“We’re proud to continue supporting students as they pursue their educational goals,” said Sarah Kuhl, Director of the Service CU Impact Foundation. “These scholarships help ease the financial burden of higher education while investing in the success of our members and the communities we serve.”
The Service Credit Union Impact Foundation launched its scholarship program in 2021 to help students achieve their educational goals.
“I want to thank you so much—not once, but twice! Your scholarship helped me cover my first year of college, and now, as I start my junior year, you’ve blessed me with a second scholarship. Your continued support makes all the difference in my life,” shared Corinne Kelly, who received the Impact Foundation scholarship in both 2024 and 2025 and attends Regis College. “My dental program is tough, with lots of science classes and clinic hours, and your generosity has allowed me to focus on my studies and caring for my patients instead of stressing about money. I honestly can’t thank you enough for your support and for helping me make my dreams come true!“
The annual program is open to Service Credit Union members and their dependents pursuing a higher education degree, and students are eligible to apply each year. The 2027 scholarship program will open in February. Below is the full list of this year’s recipients:
