SAN FRANCISCO, CA, UNITED STATES, September 4, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Lindy provides an AI assistant for professionals that works out of Slack, answers questions from a company’s own tools and meeting history, and carries out multi-step work across more than 1,000 integrations. The company, founded in 2023 and based in San Francisco, introduced its Slack-based assistant, Lindy Teammate, in August 2026.
Professionals interact with the assistant the way they would a colleague. It can be messaged directly or mentioned in a Slack channel, used through a Chrome extension, or reached over iMessage. It joins calls on Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams, records and transcribes them, and draws on that record to answer questions later. The company groups the work into three categories: answering questions from connected tools and meetings, executing multi-step tasks, and producing finished artifacts such as decks, spreadsheets and reports.
The assistant ships with more than 40 built-in skills and saves new ones for reuse across a team, so a routine one person sets up becomes available to everyone in the workspace. What it learns about a company is stored in editable plain-text memory files that users can open and change. Consequential steps are gated: according to Lindy’s product documentation, nothing irreversible happens without user approval. The assistant connects to Gmail, Slack, Notion and HubSpot, along with more than 1,000 other tools and any MCP server.
Pricing starts at $29.99 per user per month on the Plus plan, which includes 3,000 monthly credits drawn from a shared team pool. Pro and Max plans add larger credit allowances, and an enterprise tier adds HIPAA compliance with a signed BAA, audit logs and dedicated onboarding.
“It’s just like working with a real employee. Everyone on your team can simply hit it up on Slack and get 10x more done. Lindy also keeps learning, and becomes the self-updating brain of the whole business,” said Flo Crivello, Founder and CEO of Lindy.
