DealerCortex AI Unveils Agentic Operating System Built to Become the AI Brain of the Modern Dealership

Founded by longtime automotive operators and technology builders Nick Ouritski and Jeff Lassen, DealerCortex connects acquisition, inventory, marketing, CRM, calls and dealership profitability into one continuously learning intelligence layer – with eight dealerships already paying for the platform at launch.

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL / ACCESS Newswire / September 23, 2026 / DealerCortex AI today announced the official launch of DealerCortex AI, an agentic operating system designed to give automotive dealerships something they have never truly had before: one intelligence layer capable of seeing across the entire operation, determining what should happen next, taking action and learning from the result.

DealerCortex is not another dealership dashboard, chatbot or isolated AI tool.

It is being built as the AI brain of the dealership.

The platform connects inventory, acquisition, CRM activity, customers, calls, advertising, website behavior and market data into a single operating system powered by specialized AI agents.

Those agents continuously observe, diagnose, recommend, activate, measure and learn – allowing intelligence from one department to strengthen decisions across the entire store.

And DealerCortex enters the market with real-world traction already in place.

Eight dealerships are currently using and paying for the platform at launch. The DealerCortex mobile app is also live on Apple’s App Store, putting dealership intelligence directly into the hands of owners and managers.

“Most dealerships don’t have a data problem. They have data everywhere,” said Nick Ouritski, Founder of DealerCortex AI. “Inventory has one system. CRM has another. Advertising has another. Calls have another. Auctions have another. Every department sees a piece of the dealership, but nobody – and no system – sees the entire thing at once. DealerCortex was built to change that.”

Ouritski brings more than 21 years of automotive experience to DealerCortex. He spent 13 years as a CEO and operator of pre-owned dealerships in New Jersey, overseeing approximately $30 million in inventory, 800 vehicles and 150 employees. He was recognized as an Auto Remarketing 40 Under 40 honoree in 2015, became an early adopter of digital inventory and auction technology, and later spent eight years in dealership digital marketing.

That experience ultimately became the blueprint for DealerCortex, which Ouritski architected and led from the ground up.

Joining Ouritski as co-founder is Jeff Lassen, founder of Rite Way Transport Group and a longtime automotive technology entrepreneur.

Lassen founded Rite Way in 2009 and has grown the organization to approximately $120 million in annual revenue and 158 employees, earning three consecutive Inc. 5000 honors along with numerous other industry and business awards.

Technology has been central to that growth. Lassen has invested millions of dollars developing automotive platforms including Freight Dragon and, most recently, Load Genie, the proprietary technology platform powering major portions of Rite Way’s vehicle transportation operation.

“I’ve spent millions of dollars building automotive technology. I built Freight Dragon. I built Load Genie. I’m not a rookie when it comes to seeing automotive software, and I am not easy to impress,” Lassen said. “When Nick showed me DealerCortex, I wrote a check within minutes. I don’t think I slept for a week after seeing it. It was that good.”

Lassen added:

“I haven’t been this fired up about something since I founded Rite Way back in 2009. This isn’t AI slapped onto dealership software. This is agentic AI designed around how a dealership actually operates. The entire store starts working off one brain. Inventory makes marketing smarter. Calls make the CRM smarter. Sales outcomes make acquisition smarter. Every result goes back into the system. That’s where this gets crazy.”

One Brain Across the Entire Store

DealerCortex is designed around specialized agents sharing one operating truth across the dealership.

AutoClaw Acquire evaluates market and auction inventory against a dealership’s sales history, demand and economics to identify which vehicles are worth buying and what the store should be willing to pay.

Cortex Inventory monitors aging, demand, pricing, merchandising and capital exposure to identify problems before they become expensive.

Cortex Activate connects advertising decisions to the individual VIN, factoring in inventory age, economics, demand and buyer geography.

Cortex Win-Back matches previous customers and shoppers back to relevant vehicles and activates personalized outreach across text, email, voice and web.

Cortex Call Intelligence analyzes dealership calls, identifies missed opportunities and surfaces operational breakdowns such as appointments that never reach the CRM.

Department Agents give owners, general managers, sales managers, BDC managers and marketing leaders their own 24/7 intelligence partner – all working from the same dealership data.

Traditional dealership software largely tells management what already happened.

DealerCortex is designed to determine what should happen now.

“The dealership doesn’t need another login and it doesn’t need another report,” Ouritski said. “It needs intelligence that understands how acquisition affects inventory, how inventory affects media, how media affects traffic, how calls affect appointments and how all of it ultimately affects profit. That’s the system we built.”

DealerCortex then closes the loop by feeding outcomes back into the system so every decision can make the next one smarter.

Buy better. Identify problems earlier. Activate demand. Recover missed opportunities. Measure what worked. Learn from it.

One dealership. One brain. Many specialized agents.

“We believe the next major shift in automotive retail isn’t another piece of dealer software,” Lassen said. “It’s the dealership becoming intelligent as one connected organism. That’s what DealerCortex is built to do, and we’re just getting started.”

DealerCortex AI is now available to automotive dealerships nationwide. Eight dealerships are already live and paying for the platform, and the DealerCortex AI mobile application is available now on Apple’s App Store.
